Late Adamie Anautak was from Akulik. He was the son of Puvirnituq sculptor Lukasi Anautak. Since 1979, his work has been shown in Canada, the United States, France and Korea. His work is displayed at the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia and the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
Drumming was performed at various celebrations, whether it was celebrating the first successful hunt of a young boy or the birth of a child.
