Traditional Inuit Art from Canada

Inspired by our way of life

Tivi Galleries is honored to present Inuit Art from Quebec’s Nunavik region. Our exquisite art from the regions finest artists depict this wondrous and tranquil region, its people, animals and legends.

Authentic Art Gallery in Nunavik

Our gallery has strong roots in the region as we are nestled in Kuujjuaq, a short distance from the airport. Being the only Art Gallery in Nunavik, we are proud partners with the community and the artists. We co-dependently operate with the region’s talented artists and we generally buy our art directly from them.

The finest Inuit Art

Tivi Galleries offers exquisite sculptures in soapstone, serpentine, caribou antler, whalebone and ivory. We also offer a broad selection of collectables such as Inuit dolls, most of them crafted by local artist Annie Jonas. Looking for original works of art? Discover our inuit art wallhangings, paintings, sketches and limited edition prints. Last but not least, we also offer a wide variety of jewelry finely crafted from caribou antler and walrus tusk (ivory).

To protect the consumer and Inuit artists, the Government of Canada has registered the symbol of the igloo as a trademark. All Tivi Galleries sculptures bear this “igloo tag” and are certified to be handmade by Inuit.
